BioThe Hellhouse, Chicago.
Formerly a Catholic school for wayward young girls, it's now a place where mercenaries, villains-for-hire and the general criminal element can gather away from the spandex-heavy Big Apple, shoot the shit and pick up illegitimate work.
The place is run by Patch, a diminutive guy with a giant gray mustache and an appreciation for erotic novelty cakes. He hands out the assignments and handles the discipline when jerks get outta hand, usually offering bonuses to anybody who'll step up and 'take out the trash,' so to speak.
Plenty of mercenaries come and go, but a couple of the regulars are Fenway, a baseball-themed merc who speaks exclusively in baseball metaphors, and C.F., a blobbish, gelatinous dope who's often a target of abuse from Deadpool, although he's managed to sac up a bit recently and 'express himself' a little more, usually resulting in someone chewing floor.
The battle of wills between Deadpool and the brutal, albino, magic-wielding merc T-Ray is still a topic of discussion here from time to time. Things got dark for a while when T-Ray held sway, but lately things have eased back to being a more friendly bunch of rowdy lawbreakers. Camaraderie generally wins out over pissing contests.
There are board games in the cabinets.
